It's been a few months and I
know how much we all
Have grown since last September.
I just miss the way
Things used to be.
My plans were bigger then and I
Was scared to death
By how different life would be.
Now I'm feeling empty

Because My friends
felt like home.
Now I'm homesick
and all alone.

Take me back to when
Life was simpler.
When I wasn't apathetic
Towards everything life threw at me.
It's lack of motivation.
Every step I take
Is in a backwards motion and
I was hoping that you'd notice
That I haven't been the same for weeks.

This semester is ripping me apart.
I was dead weight from the very start
And I've been lost these past few weeks. I've been going through past conversations and Its crazy how much life has changed us.
But we're growing distant by the day.

But My friends felt like home
Now I'm homesick
And all alone.

Take me back to when
